To take place at around Christmas time, from the 19th to the 22nd of December later this year, the intensity of the LAN event will be far from festive. The involved teams will hail from the European Champions Cup while invited teams will also be thrown into the mix – specifically, four from Europe, and four invited. The group draws for the tournament will be seeded through HLTV rankings and the qualified teams positions in the regional competition. Apart from the pride on the line, forged from the respective Regional Champions Cup, a staggering $300,000 will heighten the pressure to the degree of tangibility. The eight qualified/invited teams will share the same stage at the Intercontinental Conference Centre Arena, in Malta.
The recreation of the Bay Arena last year and will be completed next month. The new venue includes 7, fully furnished new meeting rooms with projection and 60-inch screens and a completely new main hall, seating over 1,200 people, with all the requirements for any kind of event. This venue will contribute to InterContinental Malta’s existing meeting rooms and offers the kind of USP previously unavailable to the meeting space sector in Malta. With a state of the art technical installation including fiber optic cabling for high-speed connectivity and CAT 7 cabling the Arena also offers IPAD and iPhone stations. The venue is expected to contribute significantly to the current hotel’s event portfolio and improve the attractiveness of Malta for this sector.
Saint Julian's is a popular vacation spot on the coast of Malta. The small town successfully blends its fishing village charm with its tourist center. Latin architecture, such as Spinola Palace, built-in 1688, and the Old Parish Church are popular historical sites. Divers will enjoy exploring shipwrecks via the Divewise Center. The renovated Paceville district, a former military haunt in the 1930s, is now the hub of Saint Julian's nightlife with an array of restaurants, bars, and clubs.
TD2 & TD13 are direct route buses to St. Julians, link below for more information about the public transport in Malta. https://www.publictransport.com.mt/
